5 Minute Smoothie Recipes for Breakfast and Meal Replacement
What better way to start your morning with a delicious healthy smoothie or smoothie bowl. I didn’t start including smoothies for breakfast until I was looking for a way to include more fruit and veggies into my meals. I also realized that they are not only very delicious but also a nutritious breakfast. Smoothies boost my energy for the whole day. I have included some of my favorite smoothie recipes in this post. Try them, I promise you won’t regret it!
1.) Banana, Berry Avocado Smoothie:
This banana berry smoothie recipe is my own creation, however, I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one that makes these. But I feel like I have perfected it (not to toot my own horn). Berries are full of vitamins and antioxidants, and fibers that are great for stomach health. I love adding bananas to my smoothies to add some sweetness, and the avocados add a creaminess to the base.
Banana Berry Smoothie Ingredients:
½ cups of organic frozen mixed berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries)
2 Bananas
½ of an avocado
2 Tbsp. organic vanilla or plain yogurt (I prefer organic kefir yogurt)
½ Cup of organic milk (I use whole milk but you can use water almond or soy milk if you’d like)
2.) Banana, Mango Smoothie
This banana mango smoothie is one of my absolute favorites! Mangoes are some of my favorite fruits, so this is one of my go-to smoothies.
Banana Mango Smoothie Ingredients:
1 Cup of organic frozen mangoes
1 Banana
½ of an avocado
2 Tbsp. organic vanilla or plain yogurt (again I prefer organic kefir yogurt)
½ cup of Good Belly mango juice (or water)
3.) The Ultimate Green Smoothie
This post would be nothing if I didn’t include a green smoothie recipe. Green smoothies are all the rage right now, and they have rightfully earned that reputation. Packed with delicious fruit and green veggies, they will give you the energy boost you need to start your day right. Here’s my favorite green smoothie recipe.
Green Smoothie Ingredients:
2 cups organic spinach
1 cup of organic frozen mangoes
1 cup of organic frozen pineapples
bananas
1 cup of Good Belly mango juice (or 2 cups of water if you prefer)
Now that you have seen my go-to smoothie recipes, go ahead and try them and let me know in the comments which one is your favorite, or let me know what other smoothie recipes you prefer. I’d love to hear from you!
